As part of the second cycle of "Els investigadors s'expliquen" [Presentations by researchers] lectures, Alba Parareda Pallarès (born Roda de Ter, 1989) will present her doctoral thesis "Experiències de participació per comprendre la ciutadania dels joves" [Experiences of participation to understand young people's citizenship].

What does participation mean? What are the spaces in which young people participate, and what form do they like? What is the relationship between the terms participation and citizenship? What is citizenship? What does it mean to exercise citizenship? How is citizenship embodied in the lives of young people?
