We will visit old gypsum quarries where we will look at different evaporitic rocks, discuss their origin, their use and the history of the gypsum quarries. We will also be looking at recognising vegetation typical of evaporitic soils.
*Participants should wear comfortable shoes for walking, and bring a magnifying glass and a notepad to take notes.
