Let's be petrologists for a day. This workshop looks at the main types of rock that shape the landscape of Osona, using dichotomous tables based on features that can be seen with the naked eye or using a magnifying glass. In some cases, we will perform tests to determine the physical and chemical properties of the minerals that form the rock. After they have been identified, we will interpret the conditions under which they were formed. *Participants should bring a magnifying glass and a notepad to take notes.
