Activity included in Nature Week. Forests have great landscape value in humanised environments like the ones we live in. This trip involves a botanical tour of an area in the Collsacabra or the Vidranès regions, with different types of forests, where you will learn to identify the species of trees and shrubs most typical of medium-height mountain ranges. Their characteristics and ecological requirements will be discussed.

The programme is jointly organised by the Mediterranean Rivers Study Centre (CERM) of the UVic-UCC, the Ter Museum - Manlleu Town Council and the Osona Naturalist Group.
