Rector's board
This is the body chaired by the rector that is responsible for governing the University. It is composed of:
- Rector
- Vice-Rector of Academic Order
- Vice-Rector of Research and Knowledge Transfer
- General Secretary and Delegate of the Rector for Institutional Relations and the University Community
- General manager
University Board of Management
This is the collegiate board of the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia with responsibility for academic and economic issues. The Board follows the guidelines established by the Board of Governors of the Fundació Universitària Balmes.

Senate
The senate is a forum for debate on the general situation of the University. Chaired by the Rector, it ensures that university staff are informed and involved in the progress of the institution.
Composition and voting rights
- Full-time teaching staff with 3 years' service at the university
- Representatives of service staff up to a quota of 15% of the full senate
- Members of the University Board of Management and boards of teaching centres and heads of university research institutes
- Up to 10 students, representing all centres
- Heads of Eumo Editorial and Eumogràfic
- Senate sessions are open to all other university staff, without voting rights
Student Representatives Council
This body represents the students of the university and its aim is to help improve university services and ensure respect for individual rights.
Composition
- One student from each UVic-UCC degree course
- The governing body of the Coucil is the Standing Committee, made up of one member for each teaching centre, together with the President and Secretary of the Council.
