Mentor programme - providing simple practical advice and support for new exchange students

Mentors are UVic-UCC students and staff who voluntarily give up their time to offer wherever help or guidance a new student might need during their pre-arrival and settling-in periods. Mentors are also available during a student's stay at UVic.

Some weeks before the start of the academic semester, each mentee (student who has been assigned a mentor) will receive the first e-mail from their UVic mentor.

Each semester, these mentors, together with the International Relations Office and the Language Services, organise a series of leisure and cultural activities to help students get to know the country, culture, languages, etc.
