Master’s degrees (or university master's degrees) are official second-cycle university courses. They offer advanced training oriented towards academic or professional specialisation and an introduction to research tasks. Master's degrees are 60- to 120-credit courses lasting one or two academic years and lead to third-cycle courses, doctorates.
