Update: UVic-UCC resumes teaching activities from 3:00 p.m.
Update:
With the gradual resolution of the widespread power outage, the UVic and UMedicine campuses will resume teaching activities from 3:00 p.m. this Tuesday. However, anticipating potential mobility issues that may prevent some individuals from attending class, UVic-UCC asks teaching staff to cancel any scheduled assessable tasks or to provide alternative assessment mechanisms for students unable to attend the University.
Since this morning, the University's facilities have been open as usual and all services are operating normally. Technical, management, and administrative services staff are working on-site, although remote work remains an option throughout the day for those unable to travel to their usual workplaces.
UVic-UCC thanks all members of the university community — students, academic staff (PDI), and PTGAS — for their patience, understanding, and cooperation in facing this unforeseen situation.

The widespread power outage continues to affect the University and mobility. Given the uncertainty about when normal operations can resume on campus, UVic-UCC will maintain the suspension of teaching activities today, Tuesday, 29th of April, throughout the morning and until 2:00 p.m.
The University’s facilities will remain open and accessible during regular hours.
To ensure the functioning of services, on-site attendance will be maintained for technical, management, and administration and services staff whenever possible. Those who are unable to travel to their workplaces normally will be allowed to work remotely. For any questions, please contact the person responsible for your area or service directly.
We will keep you informed about the evolution of the situation.

Due to the power outage that has occurred today and that is causing problems in the power supply, the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) has decided to suspend all its activity throughout the day.
We also ask the entire university community, as far as possible, to leave the campuses and return to their homes with caution and in the most orderly manner possible.
