Volunteering

The Volunteering Unit offers you the opportunity to engage in different types of activities (training and volunteering) that contribute to your overall development and make you a more active and socially responsible person. UVic is ethically and socially committed to the local area and encourages you to do the same by participating in solidarity, equality and social justice initiatives.

In addition to offering volunteering courses, UVic has agreements with various social entities in many diverse areas (culture, functional diversity, education, health, sustainability...) where you can put your skills into practice and apply the methodology of service-learning, which integrates the learning of content, competences, skills, attitudes and values while providing a service to the community.

What’s more, for every 25 hours of dedication, you can earn 1 RAC credit.
