UVic-UCC is an independently managed public service, which operates a contract programme with the Government of Catalonia to subsidise student fees.
Consequently, the overall cost to students is midway between public and private sector rates.
The Degree in Medicine is organised by the non-profit Foundation for Advanced Studies in Health Sciences (FESS), set up by the Balmes University Foundation (FUBalmes) and the Bages University Foundation (FUBages). Since it is not subsidised by the Government of Catalonia, it is the FESS itself that fixes course credit fees.
Fees for re-enrolling credits on a course taken for a second time or more:
- Enrolling on a course taken for a second or third time will involve a 12% increase on the first and second enrolment fees for credits, respectively.
- Enrolling on a course taken for a fourth time will involve a 24% increase on the third enrolment fees for credits.

Course enrolment includes the following yearly fees and insurance:
- Academic transcript fee: 125 €
- University services surcharge: 125 €
- Insurance (accidents, civil liability and risky activities): €50
- Compulsory school insurance (under 28 years): €1.12
