| Description of the procedure |
This procedure allows you to request the approval for deposit the doctoral thesis. Once the application is authorized, you can proceed the thesis defense registration. Click this link for more information. |
| Who can request it? | Any person who has completed the doctoral thesis at UVic-UCC and has obtained, as a minimum, one positive assessment by the Monitoring Committee of their doctoral program. |

| Documents to be submitted |
Application for authorisation of doctoral thesis deposit. A report by two external evaluators who are experts in the field or subject matter of the thesis. Doctoral Student Activity Report. Authorisation of the thesis supervisor(s), ratified by the thesis tutor, if applicable. If the thesis is written in a language other than Catalan, you need to submit a summary in Catalan, of a maximum of five pages A digital copy of the doctoral thesis and CV (for example, PDF or similar). Proposal of six experts who could take part in the thesis defence and evaluate the thesis, and a proposed date for the public defence. | Term of resolution | The maximum general period that the University has to resolve the applications is 15 working days from the moment the thesis is deposited in the UVic-UCC Library.If the Board does not approve the thesis defence, the doctoral student, thesis supervisor(s) and tutor, if applicable, shall be informed of the reasons in writing |
