This course will help you plan, set up and assess theatre projects for the physical education classroom. Education, art and sport can come together as useful educational tools, whatever the educational context. The central focus will be a theatre project.

Games and sports activities suitable for children. This course reviews the theoretical principles of sports and games instruction. The literature on sports and games includes various perspectives, among them educational studies on methods of intervention.

You will learn the different stages in organizing a sports event, emphasizing the positive impacts and avoiding the negative ones while simultaneously pursuing a sustainable approach. The course will focus on organizing leisure activities, especially outdoor sports, in a way that can be commercialized in the market.

This course will critically review the role of inactivity in the aetiology of disease and the role of physical activity in the prevention and management of disease. It will also cover key issues for optimal physical activity recommendations for public health, enabling you to understand the links between physical activity and health for people of all ages. The course will also show you how to plan health-enhancing physical activity programmes based on a full analysis of the problem and its determinants, defining programme goals and strategies and developing instruments for outcome measurement.

Rugby is a very inclusive sport where everyone can get involved in one way or another. What is more, it has a high educational value. Knowledge of the specific features of rugby, as well as its social and human dimension, is the cornerstone of Team Sports III. In this way you will acquire the knowledge and resources needed to play rugby at school, for recreation or in competitions.
