Oral and written presentation of work

The elements of a cover page are:

• Title
• Student's name
• Academic year
• Professor/Tutor
• Name of degree
• Name of University and Faculty
• Date

• Includes section titles, chapter titles and all thematic divisions.
• The titles of sections and chapters listed in the table of contents must match those listed in your piece of work.
• You can create a minimal table of contents, consisting only of sections and references.

The introduction should include a presentation of your topic and the objectives of your piece of work. If you are writing a piece of research, the methodology needs to be included, which should include the exact criteria, steps and instruments used to collect the data analysed.

The main body of your piece of work should be clearly understood and include the main and secondary arguments.

The conclusions should summarise the results and the relevance of your work and link them to the objectives set at the beginning.

The references are an ordered list of sources cited in your piece of work. Check the Guide for writing references [ca] in order to write them correctly.

• They are non-essential information to complement and facilitate the understanding of your work: statistics, transcription of interviews, surveys, maps, etc.
• They are placed after the references.
• Each element begins on a new page.
